Looking Back

Thank you for joining us for a quick trip back in time. Each week we will turn back the pages of our Mill's history to reflect on events that have occured since our Mill's founding in 1894.

1923 found these hard working ladies (pictured below) working the spinning machines of the Frankenmuth Woolen Mill making large quantities of yarn. The production of yarn was a key part of the Mill's business in the early 1900's

This photo gives a glimpse of the conditions in the Mill and workers reported the owners provided "good lighting, fans and the latest machinery."
