Recording History

We added history notes to the walls of our 126 year old Frankenmuth Woolen Mill today. Just above maintenance entries from May 1916 we recorded some history from the past month. " 3/21/2020 through 4/21/2020...F.M.W. starts a "Make Masks at Home Campaign." Donates enough fabric to make over 35,000 masks. These masks are sewn by volunteers in the area to fight Covid-19." Our hope is that future generations can draw strength in hard times from the courage our nation showed during this crisis. Thank you to all the sewers who have made a difference in the fight against Covid-19, The Frankenmuth Woolen Mill team.
