This wool duvet is well constructed and shipping was fast.
We purchased this duvet to replace a Restoration Hardware duvet I was never completely satisfied with. I am always cold whereas my husband is hot. We have used this wool duvet for the past 6 weeks and it works well for both of us. I stay warm and my husband doesn’t get too hot. We both love that is heavier than a normal duvet.
Initially, I was worried about the size as most queen duvets are 90x92. It’s actually better than our RH duvet which kept falling down the bottom of the bed during the night and I was forever tugging back up onto the bed. The Frankenmuth Wool duvet stays in place at night—another benefit of the weight of the wool. It fits fine inside our 90x92 RH linen duvet cover.
I am allergic to wool (skin rash and stuffy nose/sneezing) and have not noticed any adverse allergic reaction. The duvet’s muslin fabric, in addition to my linen duvet cover, give my skin 2 barriers against the wool.
I would absolutely recommend this product to anyone looking for a high quality wool duvet.

I live in Alaska, Sunday night Monday morning it was -50 F. my house was a bit colder than normal to say the least, I had not yet got the comforter. Monday in my way home I stopped by the PO and pick up the comforter. Tuesday night I used it it was still -45 F. Comparing my old blankets one was down alternative, one a military wool blanket and one just a cotton blanket and I get too hot take away on of the 3 blankets I am too cold. I have only used my new comforter once but I was not to hot and not too cold it seams to keep me the perfect temperature. As I use it more I will know more but so far I love it.

I love my new woolen comforter and pillow. I live in Florida and never thought i could use a woolen comforter. To my surprise it is so much more comfortable than my down comforter. The wool keeps my body temperature. I don't sweat under it like i did with the down. With the down, i would have to stick my feet out to cool off and then stick them under when they got too cold. With the wool, i don't have to do that. I am always the right temperature.
