Lightweight Wool Comforter Pillow Set
This Lightweight Wool Comforter and Pillow Set is our best seller for hot sleepers and anyone seeking year-round use without excess weight. The set includes a lightweight comforter filled with Climate Beneficial Wool and covered in 100% organic cotton, plus matching wool pillows for complete sleep comfort. There is nothing like sleeping under wool!
Wool's natural fibers provide superior moisture-wicking and temperature regulation properties, adapting to your body temperature for year-round comfort and restful sleep. This natural wool bedding set also repels dust mites and other allergens, offering hypoallergenic benefits that synthetic fiber alternatives simply cannot match. Free from harmful chemicals and harmful substances, our organic materials create a clean, healthy sleeping environment.
Our organic wool comforter is filled with high-quality wool batting that's hand-knotted about every nine inches and works perfectly as a duvet insert, inside a comforter cover, or on its own. The batting is a layer, or sheet, of wool fill that provides a stable, non-shifting, non-bunching filling—unlike alternative comforter products that lose their shape over time.
A tie kit is included with each comforter for securing inside a duvet if needed.
Our wool pillow compresses about 1/3 of its original loft when in use, offering improved sleep with firm support and gentle cushioning. The wool fibers naturally regulate your body temperature, keeping you cool in the summer and warm in the winter for better sleep every night. This makes the set ideal for hot sleepers who struggle with overheating at night, yet still want luxurious comfort across all room temperatures.

The Benefits of Wool
Wool Sourcing
Our commitment to high-quality standards and great sleep starts with our wool. We scoured the country to find ranchers in the United States who not only treat their sheep humanely but also share in our passion for providing natural materials and products that are made in the USA. This careful sourcing ensures you receive a high-quality wool bedding set with pillows that perform exceptionally well for years.
Natural Processing
Once the wool arrives at the Mill, it is processed traditionally using our century-old machinery. It's hand-washed in bathtubs using 180-degree water and dried for 3 - 5 days, depending on the time of year. After the wool is dried, it is taken to our carding room where it's combed and processed on one-hundred-year-old equipment using no chemicals or oils.
After the wool is processed, it's taken to our finishing area where certified organic cotton fabric and wool are stretched over wooden frames and tied in the old European fashion—being tied by hand. Tying holds the wool in place and keeps the wool secure so the wool doesn't move around inside. After the wool-filled comforter is tied, the edges are sewn, and it's ready for sale. Each pillow receives the same careful attention to detail, ensuring your complete lightweight comforter set meets our exacting standards.
Sleep Matters
Sleep is the time that your body refreshes and rejuvenates itself, so having the right bedding is key. Since the average adult spends just 6.5 hours sleeping at night, the quality of such little sleep time is imperative. In addition, wool is a natural insulator, eliminating hot and cold spots that cause restless sleep.
FAQs
Is the lightweight warm enough?
Yes! The lightweight wool comforter provides excellent temperature regulation for year-round use. While it contains less wool fill than our all-season comforter, it still offers warmth when needed while preventing overheating.
Is this good for hot sleepers?
Absolutely. This is our top recommendation for hot sleepers. The lightweight wool construction, combined with moisture-wicking properties, keeps you cool and dry throughout the night. Unlike synthetic fiber alternatives that trap heat, wool naturally regulates temperature and allows air to circulate.
